Do You Truly Love Yourself?
Do you love yourself?
In this selfish world, do you really love yourself?
Do you work hard for your own well-being?
Do you enjoy doing your own work?
I don\’t think so…
Let me explain.
Remember those old times?
When there was no competition, no internet, no salons, no cosmetic surgeries…
No one was obsessed with zero-figure trends or getting bariatrics surgeries.
People didn’t rely on machines for everything.
Those people were truly independent.
Yes, they were the real definition of independent.
Today, we think we are independent — but we are not.
Back then, people used to do everything on their own.
That’s what independence looked like.
They were their own best friends.
Yes, people may have had enemies too, but at the end of the day, they kept themselves close — like a true friend.
Let me ask you something important now:
In today’s world, who do you love the most?
For most people, the answer might be their partner.
Some would say their parents.
But only about 10% might say they love themselves.
Let’s not talk about those who don’t love themselves.
But for those who claim to — I have some questions for you:
Before eating a meal or snack, do you think whether it’s good for your health?
Is the place or room you live in clean and bacteria-free?
Is your mattress clean?
Do you change your pillow cover at least twice a week?
Are your bathroom tiles shiny and fragrant?
Do you prefer sleeping early over mindless late-night scrolling?
Do you exercise regularly?
Are you truly independent or just surviving through machines?
Are you using toxic skincare products?
Are your hands and feet as beautiful as your face?
And the most important question:
Do you have a beautiful heart?
Do you think well of others, just as you think well of yourself?
If your answer to even 2–3 of these questions is “No,”
then sorry to say — you don’t truly love yourself.
Until and unless you love yourself first,
you can’t genuinely love anyone else.
“The first step of love is loving yourself.”
First, love yourself.
Then, love the One who created you.
Only then will you be capable of truly loving another human being.
Because…
“Love doesn’t need words. It’s reflected through your actions and your attitude.”
